Celebrating Entrepreneurship on the Treasure Coast
The Dan K. Richardson Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognizes individuals whose leadership extends beyond business performance to strengthening the communities they serve. The tradition dates to 2000, when Dan K. Richardson was recognized, and its roster of recipients spans decades of entrepreneurial leadership across the region.
Last year, the Indian River State College Foundation honored Gilbert Culberth as the 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year. The Foundation’s earlier 2026 announcement described these honorees as more than successful business leaders:“They are community builders.”
“Each of this year’s finalists demonstrates the vision, perseverance and commitment to community that define great entrepreneurship,” the Foundation shares. “Their businesses touch very different industries, but all four have transformed ideas into opportunities that strengthen the Treasure Coast and beyond. We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments on November 5.”
