We celebrate the legacy of our Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving programs, which have had a profound impact on our community. For more than 50 years, they have set the national standard, winning 52 consecutive men’s and 48 consecutive women’s national championships.
We invite alumni, families, corporate partners, and friends of Indian River State College to support Swimming and Diving through the Indian River State College Foundation, the only official method for contributions. The Foundation has established a $15 million fundraising goal to create an endowment intended to provide long-term financial support for Indian River State College Swimming and Diving.
The College’s District Board of Trustees will consider the future of the swimming and diving programs on November 17, 2026. Contributions to the Foundation do not guarantee continuation of the programs.

From national championships to conference titles and academic honors, River Athletics has built a proud tradition of excellence. As a member of the NJCAA, The River celebrates more than 100 men’s and women’s swimming and diving national titles, including 52 consecutive men’s and 48 consecutive women’s championships, earned by student- athletes from around the world. River swimmers have gone on to compete in the Olympic Games, and our softball, basketball, baseball, and volleyball programs carry the same winning tradition.

Is this the official way to give?
Yes. The Indian River State College Foundation is the only official method to contribute to Indian River State College Athletics.
What is an endowment?
An endowment is a permanent fund in which gifts are invested to provide long-term financial support.
Do outside fundraisers count towards the goal?
Only contributions and pledges made through the Indian River State College Foundation will count toward the goal.
Can my company sponsor or partner with River Athletics?
Yes. The Indian River State College Foundation welcomes corporate sponsorships and partnerships. Please contact foundation@irsc.edu or 772-462-4786.
What happens to my gift if the programs do not continue?
The $15 million goal is intended to establish long-term financial support for Indian River State College Swimming and Diving. If the goal is not reached, contributions will be managed by the Indian River State College Foundation in accordance with donor agreements and applicable law. Any decision regarding the continuation of the programs remains with the College’s District Board of Trustees.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, to the extent allowed by law. The Indian River State College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Can I give monthly or make a pledge?
