Throughout October, the Indian River State College Foundation celebrated the remarkable mentors who make a lasting difference in the lives of students participating in the Take Stock in Children program.
The Foundation hosted four Mentor Appreciation Dinners across Martin, Okeechobee, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties, recognizing the individuals who generously share their time, knowledge, and encouragement to help students achieve their educational goals.
For many students, the path to higher education comes with challenges that extend beyond the classroom. Take Stock in Children helps bridge that gap by providing the stability, encouragement, and opportunities students need to envision a future filled with possibilities. By investing in students early and supporting them throughout their academic journeys, the program helps create pathways to greater educational achievement, career opportunities, and long-term success.
These celebrations provided an opportunity to express gratitude for the important role mentors play in guiding students toward academic success, building confidence, and preparing for brighter futures.
The Indian River State College Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to every mentor whose continued support helps students realize their potential and pursue their dreams.
