FORT PIERCE, Fla. (October 2026) — The Indian River State College Foundation invites the Treasure Coast community to celebrate Indian River State College’s 66th birthday on October 27 through Giving Day 2026, a celebration of educational opportunity, philanthropy, and community impact. This year “One Day. One College. One Community.”, brings together parents, community members, alumni, faculty, staff, students, businesses, and friends to celebrate the College’s legacy and invest in its future.
Giving Day commemorates October 27, 1960, the date marking the College’s founding. For 66 years, Indian River State College has opened doors to higher education, prepared generations of skilled professionals, and strengthened communities throughout Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie counties. For generations, Indian River State College has helped students transform their aspirations into achievement. Its graduates are the nurses, teachers, first responders, entrepreneurs, and business leaders who contribute to the economic vitality and quality of life of the Treasure Coast.
