Memorials & Tributes
Give in Honor of a Loved One
Memorial and tribute gifts extend the legacy of your loved one in a meaningful way that will help others. Tribute gifts also provide a meaningful way to celebrate special occasions and anniversaries.
When you establish a memorial or tribute gift, you recognize the life’s work of a loved one while helping students achieve their dreams. Many of our donors honor family and friends, both living and deceased, with the establishment of scholarships, sponsorship of educational facilities, or underwriting programs that support excellence in teaching.
Providing a gift establishes a living tribute that allows you to:
- honor a loved one or yourself,
- support our continuing efforts, and
- receive personal financial benefits from your contribution

Veterans Center of Excellence
Wall of Honor
The Veterans Center of Excellence (VCE) at the IRSC Pruitt Campus in Port St. Lucie is a hub for student veterans and community members.
Purchase a plaque ($500) on the Wall of Honor to honor a veteran or veterans who have served our great nation.

Buy a Brick
Congratulate a student. Honor a faculty or staff member. Memorialize a beloved donor. Purchase a commemorative brick as a permanent tribute, recognizing a loved one, relative, or friend in a unique way.
IRSC’s Buy a Brick program raises funds for the Promise Program, a tuition-free associate degree initiative. The price of a brick covers the cost of two credit hours at Indian River State College. Your purchase is a gift to your honoree and IRSC’s future students. Should you wish to provide your honoree with a memento, 3” x 3” souvenir bricks are available at an additional cost.
For additional information, to order by credit card, or to request an order form, please contact Laura Midkiff at (772) 462-7298 or lmidkiff@irsc.edu.
